Great episode. The bar meeting was well needed and the scene with them investigating the murder in Isaak's apartment was just hilarious.

Christ you can come across some real idiots on facebook. :slap

"For everyone saying deb n dex are not blood related isn't a true dexter fan if u watched all seasons debs dad had an affair with dexters mom n is dexters real dad so yes it is blood related however still great show"

Yeah, it always seems like there's one of those people. The ones who know so much yet so little about the show. :lol

I've really enjoyed this season alot, especially after the disappointment that was last season. I have pretty much enjoyed all of the new characters they've brought on board. I've also enjoyed the fact that this season hasn't been as predictable as last season. I really thought Louis the intern was going to be more of an issue then he was. To me this show is best when it finds ways to be unpredictible.

got my fingers crossed for the final season to be epic

Preparing to get flamed for this, but for me this season thus far is bested only by season 4 and 1.

:lurking:

Villain wise, they pulled off one of the greatest villains (Ray nailed it) with a pretty decent sub villain (Bull man). I don't see anything flameworthy for that and can definitely see where your argument for ranking is based. I personally think Ray is up there withTrinity for my favorite Dexter enemies.

So do you guys think doakes will make a return, I mean he is cast for the finale "surprise mother ****er" I know all the evidence suggests he is indeed dead with them finding that body in the lake but I can't help but long for something more then a flashback or a ghost.

I think Season 2 tends to get underrated alot these days. I remember back in the day when I saw the preview for Season 2 right after Season 1 had ended and my mind was blown.

Seeing the bodies getting found and seeing Dexter turn around and Doakes was there with his gun drawn?!?! Just epic television for me. I think alot of the people who were late to the show & went back and watched the shows for the first time on dvd or something might now get the same impact, but for me Seasons 1,2 and 4 are tops. This season will probably end up being next on the list as my favorite, Isaak and Hannah are great characters.

IF they actually bring him back they will need to really fudge some of the events that were portrayed onscreen.

Doakes was seen standing next to the gas stove when the explosion occurred. An aerial shot looking down on the cabin shows the cabin exploding and no Doakes running away in the nick of time. In fact there is what appears to be a flaming body being ejected from the cabin. Masuka identifies a torso found at the scene as an African American male. No other character in the episode matched the description.

If they try to retcon that stuff away it will be a nuke the fridge moment.

I actually forgot about season 2!:monkey1 It's a great season, my only problem with it is that maybe it came to early, but certainly in terms of villains Season 7's Issac would be almost tied with Brian after Trinity.

S4
S1
S2
S7
S3
S5
S6

I'd rank them in that order, S2 had Doakes, more suspense, but S7 Has a villain of the same caliber as Trinity and Icetruck, S2 was kind of lacking a villain, In a way Dexter himself was the big bad of that season.

If Doakes is alive that will be a huge jump the shark moment for this show. He's dead and will only be seen in a flashback or photo or in Dexter's head. It would be hilarious if he told Harry to "move mother****er."

:lol

He is cast for that episode so it will be an acting role as apposed to a photo so ya a flashback or a ghost seems the most likely, I wish they hadn't found such convincing evidence of his death at the end of season 2, he could have come back for real. :(

I post my comments that i was posting on a youtube video with someone

Someone :
I'm truly starting to think Isaac will beat out Trinity as his greatest nemesis. Ironically they're both the same size/height.

I'd like to add that Ray Stevenson's weapon's handling is absolutely BOSS! (How often do you ever see them tapping the magazine to make sure the rounds spring-up right

Me :
Noway man , Trinity got a 30 year body count , even the Ice Truck Killer is more badass than Issak . Issak is a gay Ukrainian Mob boss who is intimidating but not as dangerous as ITK & Trinity

Someone :
No way. Isaak managed to kill a full room of Cuban thugs all on his own! He's got fighting and shooting skills, not so much about ritualistic kills like the other killers you mentioned. Isaak is dangerous for sure.

Me :
True , i think it was like 4 or 5 guys . But just remember how easy it was for Dexter to lure Issak into that place . With Trinity , he killed for over 30 years without a mistake , and managed to kill Rita . Issak got caught right away = amateur. Trinity is a pro. I agree Issak is dangerous but Trinity was more of a threat

Somone :
Did you see what Isaak did to those cubans? And Luis? And that guy that talked to the cops? Think about it. Arthur Mitchel, Brian Moser, and Isaak Sirko, all in one room. Who walks out alive?

Me :
Yes i seen it , But the thing is , the ITK & Trinity are way too smart for that , they would kill Issak before they got to the room. LOL

I just think it's a nice change to see Dex up against a hitman as apposed to a ritualistic killer, and ya Dex tricked him into that trap but lets be honest we needed to see that form dex! he has been way to sloppy lately and not one step ahead of everyone like he used to be, it may have discredited Issac a bit but sure look at him now, he bounced right back and he is a force to be reckoned with.
