I'm seeing more Season 1ish. Dexter is more brutal in this (smashing Joe's mouth with a hammer to shut him up, Jumping the medics hearts, cutting Julio's throat, etc.) Dexter is even visibly excited by the Snake Belly Kill. These horses coming up in Episode 4 are going to be awesome.

I have a prediction about our religious deadly duo! I will put it in spoiler tags just incase I am right

I don't think the professor is real. I think Collin Hanks sees him like Dexter sees dad. The professor has not interacted with anyone but Hanks so far.

Brilliant theory! ..100% sure you are correct, remember just before the professor said "He is ready" as he waited in the hall, the prisoner did not acknowledge his presence what so ever, put yourself in the prisoners shoes, you would plea for mercy to any new face in that situation.

Also more evidence to back up Giant chickens theory, notice when harry speaks with dexter there is no longer the bright white light, I'm not sure when it stopped possibly during the last season? maybe they stopped using that effect so in turn they would not have to use it for the scenes with Dr Gellar because that would give away immediately that he's actually imaginary.

I also just read an article over at tv.com that suggests that the new lab chick could be related/connected to ice truck killer. If she is then she would also be related/connected to Dexter. Not sure why she is so obsessed that she would steal evidence... Something's up

Also, I feel that Batista has kind of run his coarse on the show. I like him and all but I feel his character is not progressing and he is certainly not crucial to the story. I can easily see him get killed off this season.
