I already told Zach that SSF is like the Mos Eisley of toy forums. Sometimes all you want to do is get a drink and some old guy and his kid come in and cut off your damn arm with a laser sword.

Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill are still moving forward, not dead. We're currently working on getting multiple assortments approved.

First X-Files figures will be 2016 style, we'll see how deep we go with the classic line.

Did we say we were doing Alien vehicles? Not sure where that was reported, officially, and I'm not sure they've been abandoned, but the Aliens Minimates line has done very well, and we have been expanding that line (including Predator) while other electronic vehicles were prioritized. But Alien is still a brand we're working on, so other things (like vehicles) may still happen.

I stand corrected then.

For a second I wondered why Scully's chest was so big? :rotfl

minimates? really.....do people really buy these? so pointless.

Yeah, I have no interest at all in those minimates.

I guess it's whatever floats your boat.

Yeah I noticed you haven't been around as much lately. Can you give any behind the scenes info on the acquisition of the license? Like approvals or getting in touch with Fox? It's my holy grail of collecting and I find the process really interesting.

I really hope you go deep with the line so we can get characters like Krycek, Deep Throat, X and the Bounty Hunter. It's very cool you're here giving input. I now see you as this guy:

I started threads here, at the Fwoosh, and at moviemaniacs.net. the responses have been very favorable from the board members. Are you already contacting other older cast members for likeness approval or is it a wave by wave thing?

And we've never had an argument over there. I usually asked about getting this license and Gotham figures.

If I may be so bold as to again venture off topic - are you in a position to say whether or not Diamond Select have any plans for the USS Reliant in the Star Trek ships line? Or perhaps the Enterprise C (even though I'm not a huge fan of that ship design but since I've got the others...).

Aside from the human figures, what creatures, monsters and aliens do you hope to see from this line? I personally would really want:

1. Flukeman! Please make this one!
2. Long-Clawed (attack) Alien
3. Grey alien
4. The Human Bat
5. Lord Kinbote

Since we don't know how many waves we'll get, my essentials would be:

Season 2 Mulder - he had more of a buzzcut hairstyle, was way more interesting as a character in this season alone. In later seasons he was lost in cases and mythology episodes. Also, almost all figures of Mulder so far go for the easy Seasons 4-5 look with the longer hair.
Deep Throat
X
Cigarette Smoking Man
Skinner
Krycek (based on his look in 'Piper Maru')
The Bounty Hunter in typical suit or his first look in 'Colony' - leather jacket, sweater, very Terminator
I don't care much for figures of Doggett or Reyes, so if they don't get made it's not a huge deal.

Creatures/Monsters of the Week/Villains

Eugene Victor Tooms
John Barnett (young version from 'Young At Heart', with salamander hand and magnum)
Lyle Parker mid-transformation from 'Shapes'
The Flukeman (I get the desire for this, but I don't really feel the need for it, I don't go back and rewatch this episode as much)
Chester Ray Banton from 'Soft Light' - his shadow kills people, always loved this episode
Donnie Pfaster from 'Irresistible' in demon form or normal
Leonard Betts
Robert Patrick Modell from 'Pusher' - a standout villain from the series

I would have posted more, but we don't know the longevity of the line yet. I'm really looking forward to seeing the sculpts though.

Ummm, surely they could have done better than this. Scully is unrecognizable, looks more like Helen Hunt.
