Die Hard - John McClane - Nearly Finished

I added the forearm names and set it aside for a few days. Gave it a once over before weathering the pants and it had just curled up.

I have never had that problem with any of my decals. I wet them, take them off the paper, place them, seal them with Future floor polish (because I like the working time) and when the Future is dry I spray a couple of quick shots of Dull Cote to get rid of the shine from the Future. I have decals that have been on figures for years and they have never moved.

I haven't used decals on a figure yet, but for rough/irregular surfaces on my model kits I always use this with excellent results:

Micro Set to prepare the surface and soften the decal, and Micro Sol after applying it; then gloss followed by a dull coat to finish.

I also use Micro Sol, no issues.
