Different Marvel Forums for Hot Toys and Statues?

I'm all for a Hot Toys sub forum. It's a hassle having to scan past all the HT thread names looking for new Marvel stuff when I have zero interest in Hot Toys. It seems kind of silly to me, I mean why not have Bowen lumped in? They do Marvel right?

I want to see Sideshow stuff, that's why I come to Sideshow Freaks, I'm not at Hot Toys Freaks. Make a separate sub-forum, it's cleaner, more organized and makes more sense.

I agree. It's pain in the butt to look for things when there search engine don't even work properly. IMO they really need to group things by Studios / Producers not what license they are in!

I wonder if it's really that hard to make a sub forum or if the mods just don't give a damn about the multiple threads that have raised this same issue.

One word "lazy"!! Why would they want to change anything? It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks here.

Well, this set up has worked since the boards inception and has done pretty darn well so far with very few complaints.

Mods do give a damn, why do you think we try to lock/delete duplicate threads, only have 1 per item etc. The problem is people complain if we lock/delete threads because there is an existing one and they accuse us of over modding, then they complain if we don't lock/merge threads saying the board is overrun by multiple threads.
Damned if we do......
As for the sub-section idea, that has been an ongoing discussion for a while and is down to the Admin.

Lazy , well when you've been a mod here then you may be able to comment on that
We change things all the time, and are open to recommendations, see the Q & A Forum.


In regards to seperate forums, I know the Admin has been looking into additional sub-sections for some sections, maybe adding an extra customs and 1/6 sub-sections to various of the individual forums that are extra busy.
Marvel does get a lot of traffic so who knows if the admin will decide to have a seperate section here for the 1/6 pieces, only time will tell I guess as that kind of change is down to the Admin.
