Very beautiful this maquette. I suspect that will appear in November 2012 to reach the form of Christmas ornaments but I hope that will appear a large diorama. This statue does not think it's bigger than Tupuxuara


PS;is strange that this statue has shown today when I have written:" I love this line, and there are many fans who expected an answer about this wonderful line and look, it appeared.

Whatever, I just got the e-mail yesterday morning, didn't actually read the e-mail until this morning, (I can only access the Internet when I come in town for work since I live in BF, Idaho), and guess what? They're sold out already!!! How many pre-orders were scooped up by re-sellers just so they can butt-rape me later? This is total BS!!!

$40 X 200 pcs... What were they thinking?!?

I'm sorry for venting, but I've been waiting on pins and needles for the next Dinosauria announcement, and I've completely missed my shot in less than 24 hours?!? WTF?!?

I feel your pain. Many of us who have been buying every piece in this line, didn't get one. Most people have admitted that they bought this to have a cheap Dinosauria piece in their collection. I too think it's bs from Sideshow, and they need to rectify this somehow. They made plenty of the Brachiosaurus hatchling, so why make this have an edition size of only 200?

I quite agree. Way to piss off your loyal customer base for this line, Sideshow. Nice move.

They say that misery loves company and I don't want to step on any toes, but I do feel a little better knowing that I'm not the only hardcore Dinosauria collector that got toasted on this deal... Who knows, guys, maybe they'll have a full adult with her nest and this was just a preview... How cool would that be... ^_^

Well, I finally placed my order for this beautiful maquette, and I can't wait till it gets here. In the mean time, I'll be busy preparing a nice environment to take pics in. I'm glad the weather has finally cooled down, and the mosquitoes are gone. Should help make taking pictures outside more enjoyable.

A little off topic but, does anyone know what the quality is for Griffon Models. Specifically the Velociraptor/protoceratops skeleton model? Have seen it only on Ebay, but they were stock pics.

My Stegosaurus Maquette arrived today, and I am loving it. She is so huge, and her paint job is just like the prototype. Everything about this piece has me crowning it my favorite Dinosauria piece in the line. It will be hard for Sideshow to top this, unless they make a huge Hadrosaur maquette. I really hope they do.




Here is a quick and dirty pic of my #45 Stegosaurus Maquette. My usual outdoor pics will come later, once I've finished building my miniature set and taken the pictures.


I will say to anyone planning on buying this statue, be careful when opening, as the plates can fall out. I had two fall out, but luckily were not damaged. Also, for anyone sitting on the fence because they think this might be too expensive, BUY IT. It is well worth the price, and will make a great addition to any collection.

Yep had thought about checking it over I will wait till wife at work check it and reseal it still nice of her to buy it.
