Display case maintenance/ cleaning?

I'm new to collecting Hot Toys.

I purchased some old used Ikea glass cabinets that require cleaning.

I've been doing research online.

Although theres useful information on how to keep the toys clean.

I'm curious to know what products collectors use to clean thier "display cases"? Aren't cleaning products with chemicals potentially harmful towards the paint? What's ok? What's not ok?
What type of material do you use to clean the glass to prevent scratches? etc.

Just a damp cloth.

It's really not all that complicated. Glass doesn't scratch easily.

Not only does it clean well, it leaves a smooth/slick surface where dust and dirt have a problem sticking to. A word of warning though, it will make anything shiny even more shiny & reflective. And it's non-toxic. I use this stuff to clean off my fish tank & hood and don't have to worry about contamination. It's pricy but it lasts really long. Way worth it.
