Just got back from a local Toy and Comic Convention and had a chance to view some upcoming HT pieces up-close in person. I must say I am impressed with some of the upcoming pieces.

It's an impressive piece in person. The tailoring of the attire is very good and the likeness of Nicholson is outstanding. Comes with all the accessories you can think of. Definitely a worthy addition if you collect the HT line of batman pieces.

HT Captain America
HT nailed this figure - from the tailoring of Captain America's costume to the likeness of Chris Evans. The best thing about this figure? Captain America's shield. HT hit the bullseye on this one and I cannot tell you how shiny it looks in person, like it was forged out of adamantium steel-vibranium alloy. A word of advise: Forget sideshow, get this one instead.

HT Batmobile
This is one HUGE sucker in-person, measuring approx 27 - 30 inches in length. Sad to say, all praise pretty much end there. I was disappointed with the flat, plastic-looking paint job (if there's a paint job at all) which makes it look like a cheap oversized toy from Toys-R-Us. Not much detail on the vehicle either and the dimensions of the Batmobile seem a tad off and did not resemble the Batmobile as seen in the movie. I'm hoping this is just a prototype and HT slaps on some automotive paint in the production run to bring out the gloss in the paintwork. A huge disappointment as it could have been heaps better.
If you're looking for a more screen-accurate Batmobile which oozes quality, craftsmanship and paint job, go for the Cinemaquette Presents Batmobile instead. At the stipulated price point of the HT Batmobile, you'd kick yourself for not getting the CP Batmobile.

It sure is bud. It was the most impressive piece I saw at the Hot Toys booth and the entire convention. It was a prototype of the HT samurai predator. I sure hope they release this in future. The base is impressive as hell and packed with detail.

Sideshow Rogue PF
1:4 Scale
Received Rogue today 1 day earlier than scheduled. I must say that after all the comments on Rogue I was a bit nervous opening the box. Thankfully, mine does not look as bad as some that I've seen on the forum. The eyes are not painted perfectly straight but you won't notice it unless you look at it from 3 inches away.
Overall, a great piece and I'm very glad Sideshow decided to make this. It pairs beautifully with the Gambit PF. The EX is a must as it comes with 2 gorgeous prints and the switch out Jim Lee head which I grew up with. Here are some pics and hopefully my pics will do this statue justice.

Thanks IL. My Rogue isn't perfect by any means, I can spot sloppy paintwork on the piece. I just didn't take the shots close up and with a harsh flash like the others did. Paintwork could be better but I'm keeping this as this is the best Rogue out there atm. Hope you get a better replacement IL.
