Sculpt for trade rather than cash?

[Mods, I put this here as, at this time it is only a query. If something more comes of it I will ask that it be moved.]

For example, would a sculptor trade a sculpt for say... an HT Pred or Alien? a USCM?
Just curious if it possible before offering anything.

I would say that it depends on the sculptor or sculpt. But, I'll bite. What are you looking for?

There are a number of sculpts that I think are missing from the 1:6 world. Over time I've been searching for William Smith [70's tough guy NOT the fresh prince], Starsky & Hutch, TV's SWAT, the Rookies.....
My ultimate list numbers in the hundreds to be honest. If this were to materialize I'd obviously have to sit and narrow it down.

It's something I had offered for my Dexter head, but out of those who ordered it, I only had one who wanted to trade (a Shwarzy T1 hs).
I had another one who wanted to trade a Commissioner Gordon hs, but due to my hatred of TDK, the deal didn't go through!

But I guess that the best possible trade (and the fairest one) would be a hs for a hs. Everybody's looking for things tey don't have!

I have recently sculpted Sergent Doakes, Holmes and Watson (Brett/Hardwicke) and plan to do a Preacher Eastwood. I hope to post these soon and if anyone's interesting in getting one, I will definitely offer the two options once again!

I was thinking more along the lines of a trade to sculpt a head rather than a trade for an already finished one.

Could be a great idea! The thing is I'm not good enough to make that kind of deal and I'm afraid "established sculptors" prefer those little green things, but in a perfect world, that would be a perfect idea!

Yeah, well I figured it could put a piece they may have missed into their hands, a sculpt I want into mine and then they always have the option of selling more casts and making $ on top of it all.
