I only have 3 PF and only one of them came with an "extra" part (Red Skull) so I have him holding the cosmic cube and I have the cane leaning against his leg like he put it down to grab the cube . The cane holding hand I just put away.

Same goes for statues... if there is a switch out piece (not being used) it will stay in the box.

l keep the exclusive parts right next to the statues in my detolfs. when l post pics and say they are the exclusives and the exclusives pieces are no were in sight you guys might think l am a liar.:lol plus it adds more to the display for when people see my set up.

It depends what exclusive parts are we talking about. For example I prefer the regular masked heads on both the SS Predator 1 and 2 dioramas and the EX heads are in a separate box packed well. 1:6 Emperor Palpatine has his EX head on and the regular head is in my parts box well packed, 1:6 Vader has his choking exclusive hand in the same box where is the Sandtrooper's "Look Sir, Droids" ring too.

The PF Vader has his EX Mouse Droid next to him in the cabinet and the EX Stormtrooper blaster is held now by the Stormtrooper commander. Also the Kotobukiya Luke as Stormtrooper has Luke's head and belt in the box and I display this statue as a Stormtrooper - I also chose one pose for the Koto TIE Fighter Pilot and that is it.

Regular or exclusive parts are both fine, aslong if it has switchable options :wink1:
I have the pred2 Dio also and love it, I wish I had the unmasked head but unfortunately i have the regular from local store.
Oke you have a 'sturdy box' for save keeping of all other parts. I think alot of collectors do that. To me it seems inconvenient keeping a 'few parts' in the original box, bcs than you have to be carefull with all those big boxes in storage and keep track which has stuff in it!!

I prefer displaying all/most of the parts as well. Thats why I'm curious how others choose to do this..
When you display it in your detolf (flat surface); What do you put underneath the (for example) head/arm, so it has some support (and protection) against tumbling over and still look good? Most loose parts are out of balance by themself..
Do you have pictures of some of the alternate parts in your "Show your Shelves" section?

I have to disagree, danger. Those hands look scary more than anything else, and the clothes of the t1000 just liying around are just strange and messy.

l have black thin foam sheets you can buy at micheals. they have a friction kind of surface while on glass so the exclusives dont move around. for example my berserker ex severed head. dont have pics. but l have a new set up in my room with my stuff and l will post pics soon.

Nope. I'm one of the few that don't really care about accessories. Once I get a figure. I take it out put it in a pose with whatever accessory I think looks best and the rest never comes out of the box and I don't touch that figure again until it goes back in the box.

Exact same with me. Hell I hardly even repose them after the first initial setup.

:lecture:lecture:exactly:

Set and forget...:wink1:
