Do you DVD, HD DVD or Blu-ray?

It's too early to pick one definitive format. It depends on the movie, what the extras are, what formats it's released in, and the quality of the transfer.

I have both HD DVD and Blu-Ray, and IMO there isn't much difference between the two but Blu-Ray just pips it at the post for me at the moment

I think I'm going to pick up Hot Fuzz on HD DVD--it received the first ever 5 star review over at highdefdigest:

Our site has never reviewed a release that's scored 5 stars overall -- in fact, this entire disc seems too good to be true. Not only is the movie entertaining and satisfying, but the video transfer is gorgeous, the audio packs significant punch, and there are approximately eighteen hours of entertaining supplemental materials.

Judged in comparison to the standard-def DVD, the video and audio packages are both significantly improved, and this HD DVD even includes ten hours of features that aren't even available on the US-released DVD.

Simply put, in my opinion, this is currently the best overall high-def release on the market -- especially when you factor in the price. Purchasing 'Hot Fuzz' on HD DVD is a no-brainer for fans and an easy recommendation for newcomers. This is what high definition is all about.

I am regular for now. But my brother just got a 360 and I am planning on getting a PS3 end of September.

Same here. I started out supporting HD-DVD but switched to Blu-Ray when I got my PS3. I still buy HD-DVDs when the movie is not released on BR.

I had this arrive along with Shaun of the Dead the other day on HD-DVD, at least I know what I'll be watching over the weekend
