2 many Gr8 Statues!!!
I don't care. Usually the regular display is better than the the exclusive and I don't switch displays especially to something not as good. And on the secondary market the exclusively are definitly way over priced.

If the exclusive is a piece of art, like a lithograph, I pass.
If it's an extra thingy, like an endoarm, skull, I pass, who needs stuff that will probably fall, get lost.
I don't like the alternate head sculpt thing, unless they give you a stand to display the alternate piece.
I get really picky when it comes to choosing an exclusive over the "plain" item.
It's all on a case by case basis.

Depends if I want the extra bad enough. sometimes I get the extra exclusive seperate on ebay, although prices are silly for things like that. I might have to do that with the Joker 2.0 as I have just the regular on PO and would like the Detonator and Grumpy's Clown Mask Might have to pay a small fortune for it though on the bay :gah:

If the exclusive is a switch out head or arm/hand holding a different accessory then its ALWAYS better to get it if you can.

But I'm left scratching my head by some people on this site when the EX is a slight variation of some kind and they post, "I like the regular edition better but I have to get the EX!"

wtf?

I'll usually try for the Exc as long as its the same price but if I initially pass on something and the Exc price gets out of control (like Skaar) then I dont mind the reg.

It depends. I used to get exclusives just because I was going through Sideshow anyway to get their customer service (and rewards points). Price wasn't all that great, so I figured why not? But after experiencing some really disappointing shifts with their customer service over the last year, I don't have a strong incentive to order directly from Sideshow anymore. So, probably more regulars in my future.

Being an international customer I only go for certain ex's doesn't seem to big an issue these days, but used to mean I had to get up at 4:00am when orders went up if I wanted the ex

me too but these days are long gone and that takes away some of the enjoyment of collecting and scoring an exclusive version

Depends what the EX is. If it's something that changes the appearance of the piece (to the better), or gives me more display options, if it's a print, then I'm all in. If it's just a hand or something, I don't give a damn.

It's actually much cheaper for me to get the Ex than to try and get a reg from a local seller here in Australia.
Unless it's over 1k then I have to work out taxes, duty and shipping which usually makes local purchase a better option.

It depends on the EX, only if i really like it, i'm from europe so the cost difference matter.
