Jabba the Hutt (WIP)

- used a Dremel on the nose, fat rolls and shoulders, then resculpted them.
- resculpted the eyes.
- made his head more narrow at the top and wider at the bottom.
- cut off the bent tip of his tail and resculpted it.
- sculpted a new set of arms
- on Salacious I removed the open mouth part, shortened the neck and resculpted it. Also did some changes on the sculpted fur parts. Still have to sand it down.

Great work so far!
While I don't own either version, at least based on pictures I always felt the V2 was lacking somehow, considering it was their second take on the character.

Very much looking forward to seeing this painted up!

Thank you!

Yeah, they definitely took some artistic freedom when doing the v2, with the sculptor bringing in his imagination. I think on the v1 the emphasis was placed more on getting an accurate sculpt.

Still working on the face sculpt, but once I'm happy with it, I'll get to the painting process.

Unfortunately not. There is still some work on the sculpt that needs to be done.

I'm struggling a little to find the motivation necessary for sculpting for the last year or so, to be honest.
That's too bad. But I can totally relate - I abandoned quite a few projects over the years due to lack of motivation.

If it helps, I think your Jabba and Emperor have the potential to be the best 1:6 versions out there once you complete them!

What do you use to sculpt BTW?
