Do you want 1/6 God Of War Figure Line: Poll

We have a PF coming. Neca made their's. Now how about 1/6? Whether it's HT, Enterbay or Sideshow (Do they still make 1/6?). Personally, I would like HT to take charge of this and expand their Video Game Masterpiece line. Being how they are producing sculpted bodies/rubber bodies/Hybrid bodies with extreme details, why not go for it? I think a combination using an upper half of one of their hirsute body and rubber legs like on Leonidas would be the way to go. Plus let's not forget other characters from the game such as Ares and Zeus. And of course they can make different Variations of Kratos!!!!

So would anyone here be interested??

no question about it. if only Hot Toys would get this license so they could make Kratos, Zeus, Hades, Poseidon. i know if Hot Toys gets the license it would be crazy to think they could make the titans but just imagine that.

Lol that would be insane but even if you were to keep them in scale with a 12" Kratos, you'd still have to make a Titan about 500 feet tall. Kratos is like an ant in comparison. Still having a 500 foot action figure from HT in your front lawn would look cool.

No, we don't. The PF was cancelled and will now be a 1:5 scale maquette. I'd rather have a a single PF than a series of 1:6 scale figures.

what is the difference between a pf and a 1/5 scale maquette ?

Premium Format statues are universally done in 1:4 scale, and use mixed media, i.e. cloth, metal and polystone, to represent the character, clothing and accessories. A maquette is typically 100% polystone.

I'd buy a Kratos in a heartbeat, personally. And it should be easy for Hot Toys to make one. Just use the Leonidas body and add some new armor pieces, headsculpt and accessoiries.

I doubt HT will make more video game characters except Resident Evil,if they had the interest or license we would have seen Metal Gear Solid figures by now,which is very popular over there.

True. I wonder why they are so averse to making anime and videogame products, though. Is it because they don't have the manpower to spare, issues with licenses, or because Medicom has claimed that section of the 1/6 market?

Doesn't Sideshow and DC Direct have the God of War licnese. Even if HT only sticks to RE stuff, I can't complain to much as it is my favorite vg series and there are so many characters they have yet to make. Still I do belive (hope) we will see HT tackel more video game licenses by next year, what they are is anyone guess.

Remember that HT is also doing the new Marvel Masterpiece series which is debuting end of this year , start of next.
