People never die, As long as they are remembered. That's the best way to look at things imo.

Death seems to be a constant in the universe. As far as we can tell everything comes to an end....but...if you look at stars...their deaths eventually result in newer stars and planets...everything eventually gets"recycled" so to say.

I used to fear death , now I longer do. I've come to accept that once I die, that will be it. My conscious thoughts will come to an end. No pain, no suffering, no judgment. I'll return to the Earth , where I came from, my atoms will eventually form another part of life perhaps a rock, a tree, who knows.

I stopped thinking about life AFTER death and started enjoying life BEFORE Death. I spend as much time enjoying my family and friends and seeing as much as I can before the light goes out. I'll enjoy and make as much of my existence while I'm here.

Isn't this assuming that the aging and development are the same process? I am under the assumption that they are different and separate processes. If they are the same process, then it would not be possible to extend longevity on ANY part of the body.

Thats the crux of the issue. Are doctors saying that aging has only negative impacts on brain developement? Because I'm pretty sure that for children and young adults the aging and growing brain is what allows faster learning.

Personally, I don't find messing with the brain to be a very intelligent thing to do. The difficulty in accurately prescribing drugs for people with mental issues is a good example. Messing with the brain is tricky.

I just don't see this ever working.
