I tried to sell some 7 inch figs on here and not one has gone.
I know the majority of collectors on here go for statues and 12"inch including me so it may be hard to sell them. I'm just wondering though are these worth putting on ebay. Ebay charges you to list whether you sell items or not.
Do 7 inch figures still sell ? :monkey2

Any help would be appreciated guys , thanks in advance.

Some do...I think a lot of hype went out of the 6''-7'' scale once Toy Biz lost Marvel Legends to Hasbro. Before then EVERYONE was about that scale, but Hasbro's quality of ML caused people to drop the line in addition to their flip-flop of scale from 5'' back to 6'' and everything above and below and in-between.

I think people are actually starting to get more interest in 12'' figures more now than ever.

I still collect this scale (NECA mostly) and the "Superheroes" 6" scale (mostly DCUC Batman characters now). I don't know about secondary market for the NECA style stuff, but they are still in business. I just think here is the wrong place to try to sell them though.

IMO 7" figures (NECA, McFarlane, etc) sell probably 10-1 compared to the 12" figure market, I mean what licenses do both NECA and McFarlane NOT have? It seems the 7" market producers can get almost any license hence I think make more money for everyone.

Keep in mind we are talking about a $10-$15 item whereas a 12" figure jumps up from that quite a bit. I also think people (the average collector of figures) is more into quantity than quality.

They are a lot more common (usually) and the scale isn't as popular as it once was. My buddy has sold a lot of Spawn figures in the last couple of year and even large lots average a couple bucks a figure.

The Alien and Predator figures do a bit better... but not a lot.

Prices have dropped indeed, but some of the McFarlane Alien/Predator figures go for higher prices then retail (for example MM6)

But seriously..I think you should sell them on the spawn board or the moviemaniacs.net board.People here are much more into higher end collectibles...Those figures are a nice start for a beginner collector, but as your progressing into this hobby, you are bound to go with higher end collectibles, like Sideshow.

Here in Australia the small action figures seem to be very popular. The local figure board is swarming with action figure collectors and rarely do we get people posting about 12 inch figures. So it may be a geographical thing downunder.
