Does anyone like to go fishing?

been thinking about going for years now.

Just found out my co-worker lives in a yatch and her husband is gone for 1 month so she invited me to go fishing. This is a sign!!!!


Anyone have any suggestion as to what fishing pole to buy for beginners? I want it to be able to fight off a 15 lb fish.

I went out to the dam with some corn and tried to catch some crappie. No luck,the weather and barometric pressure has them all messed up right now. This spring I'll go back to stripper fishing.

It's true! I do have a pic somewhere - though where I don't know...but I'll look around. That was before the days of digital cameras so I have a buttload of pics to look through since I am bad at organizing them.

Oh cool I want to see it! I've only been deep sea fishing once and just caught a crab,never a tuna. I bet that was an epic fight.

Nah, my post was actually sincere and innocent until it was taken out of context. When I was a kid, I was a boy scout. You would fish, get into archery, shoot BB guns, activities, charity work. Seems like yesterday.

When I lived in Ontario, my dad would come by my place and pick me up around 5am to go out on the boat. He would bring me milk and donuts (like a kid, and I loved it) and get himself coffee, too. I didn't care if we didn't catch any. It was just amazing be out there. But I do enjoy fishing. Catch and release.

I loved fishing when I was a kid. Could never gut them, and still despise the stench so therefore wont eat them, but I still love the feeling of finally catching a fish on the line and reeling it in.

Did deep sea once for some albacore out of San Diego for an overnighter, was a bust and most everyone in my crew got seasick. After that, I'm just fine from the shore or a rowboat as long as their is beer involved. It's like golfing for hillbillies.
