This is the message I received from my seller involving my T1 T-800 Arnie I pre-ordered months ago. Why I just didn't do it with SideShow like I normally do with everything else is something I shall regret....... So here goes:
"Hi,

I got the latest info from HOT TOYS.
This item would be released in a few batches.
The first batches has been released but only for their VIP exclusive retail sale.
All the online and oversea pre-orders have to wait to the second
batch. Normally it would be a few weeks later from the first batch launched.
Because HOT TOYS like to get the commend from their VIPs and trying to
improve the quality on the second or third batch if possible.
We would send them out to customers according to order sequence, thx!

They are correct with that info.

Why I never pre-order from eBay. If you want HT figures asap you have to buy from in hand sellers on the day of release, but obviously at a premium.

And also at a risk that the first batch will have defects (though rare).
