There is definitely a waning interest in Star Wars. The economy is fine for us but there is definitely a huge increase in competing products or just alternative stuff for collections with all the new brands and licenses entering the spaceJoost
Do you think it is because of lack of interest in Star Wars now, the economy, the insane number of hot toys being released, or a combination?
I personally don’t have the space for anything that big, but if I did , I would have ordered.
Iness looking forward to seeing the finished piece.
No we did not get a C&D, but I am happy that I now have only licensed stuff, going forward with new licenses as well. It makes no sense to run any risk if the reward is negative. The only reason I kept going is because I love it as much as the customers. This huge loss on the Star Fighter was just the final nail in the Star Wars coffin. I had already said in multiple interviews last year that I was going to stop doing Star WarsI bet one of those bigly-fun C&D's showed up in the mail then. Disney is renowned for their ferocity.
