I have to be honest- that video makes me want to copy that floppy even more. That guy was so annoying I want to do it just to spite them. Stupid, stupid people making stupid videos. The only people really losing money are people like Bill Gates! HELLO!!!! That guy doesn't need his billion dollar yearly salary any way. I like to steal from the rich because it's ****ing justifiable.

Burn corporations, burn. :emperor

On another note, some people really need pay cuts. The dean at my university makes close to 200k a year!!! WTF!?! What does he even do? He is just an old prune sitting and drying out in a chair doing nothing!

Some people get paid way too much while others are left earning pennis. ****!:monkey4

You're a real modern day Robin Hood!! :lol :lol :lol I don't know how it works for software...but I will say that for musicians - copying does hurt...especially if you are a new band just getting started at a label....low CD sales and you'll likely be dropped. Most musicians make the majority of their money from touring....but the greater your album sales the more $$ you can be guaranteed for shows. The ones who can really get the shaft from copying are those just starting out and trying to make a name for themselves....sales are crucial. My two cents....and I'm guilty of copying as well so I'm not preaching here. :D

although we all hate gates, he did start as a peeon programmer. he built microsoft up from scratch and the world's need for faster information made him one of the richest people in the world. what i don't understand is he was paid to develop the windows os by steve jobs, and then promptly stole the developed work to sell on his own. he is a glorified pirate. with him as an example, how can anyone ever be prosecuted for any type of media piracy?

Don't some of those small bands say people downloading their songs gives them exposure though. I am pretty sure I have heard some say it has actually helped them.

It can help them get label attention....possibly get picked up...but if the album sales aren't there then they will get dropped. It's a double edged sword......it helps but it hurts.

Ah, that makes sense. Back to that video, glad Oregon Trail made an appearance. I loved playing that game in Elementary School. The best part was when you died, you could put an inscription your tombstone.:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

If you're a rich you're a dick. I assume rich people have heads as well. Therefore they are dick heads. :lecture

On a side note, I wanted to mention that most rich people are ***** so I encourage stealing from douche faces. :lol

So true...the super rich I have met are a funny breed....so extravagant in their spending on certain things....but when it comes to paying hired help....tight wads......I know someone who paid $17,000 for a lamp - a lamp!!! Then didn't care for it and stuck it in a closet.....yet refused to give their longtime employee a raise and also refused to let them use their airline bonus miles (that they accrued for work related travel) for personal use. :monkey4

:lol:lol:lol It's not me...though I am long overdue for a raise...but I get lots of other bonuses that make up for it....as well as my miles (though I had to tell my boss that those were mine and she couldn't make me use them for work). I'm lucky...my boss is actually really f'n cool. :rock :rock It's her evil ex (who is more rich) that is the stinking a-hole from hell. :lol

I 100% completely agree! They don't mind paying extreme prices for certain things but they certainly do mind tipping their waiters more than the required 10%. Sometimes they tip even less than a person who makes minimum wage. I say **** them. They are so rich they have lost touch with humanity. The richer you get the more disconnected you will become- these words are true.
