Anyone reading this? It seems like a big deal.

I picked up the 1st issue yesterday. I didn't get a chance to read it yet. I actually saw a TV commercial for this issue while I was watching Mr. Robot. That's the 1st time I can remember any comic book publisher advertising one of their books on TV. I hope it's a good read. I know the art is going to look great. I love me some Gary Frank artwork.

Yeah, I saw the commercials too. I read the first issue. :)

Helluva of a first issue. I was a bit skeptical at first with this whole Watchmen vs DCU crossover event but I gotta say, this thing has really come along nicely. I'm really glad now that we're getting the big payoff since the whole "DC Rebirth" arc began. "The Button" Flash/Batman crossover was fantastic but just an appetizer for what Dr. Manhattan may or may not be up to. And the lead up story to "Doomsday Clock" in Action Comics, "The Oz Effect" was riveting and had a truly great emotional wallop at the end. I can't wait to see where this all goes.

Enjoyed the first issue. Fascinating to catch up with some of the characters from Watchmen, all of these years after the original story. The art was fantastic too.

Which of the Rebirth stories are important to read before this? Just DC Universe Rebirth and the Button crossover?

Yeah, Gary Frank is a hell of a artist. IMO, quite underrated for how talented he is.

It was a great read, but I thought it was odd how fast

Ozymandias plot was discovered.

First I've heard of this, but I'm intrigued. I suppose Alan Moore has nothing to do with this?

This is being pushed back to a bi-monthly release now. Read the 1st two issues and enjoyed them.

Somebody is missing deadlines :lol

Yeah, usually it's the artist. If that's the case, I'm not gonna complain. I love Gary Frank's art work and would hate to see someone else step in to make deadlines. Bi-monthly is OK with me if it means Gary is going to do all 12 issues.

Just finished reading #12...whew 2 years to complete 12 issues. No huge surprises in this series. Watchmen when it came out was a 10/10 series for me...this one about a 7/10.
