my wife hated it, but I thought it was pretty fun!!

Tongue on cheek but great fun, Mad Max seems boring compared to Doomsday and by that I mean film-makers get to use ridiculous amounts of gore these day, gore which the Mad Max movies could have done with. Well worth a watch but Oscar worthy I think not
