So those of you that are still in college here I am sure can understand how I feel. Right now Im putting off a paper for Indian History that is due Thursday, prepping for a Spanish final, a Poli Sci final and a Meteorology final. All 3 of those are looking to be repeat courses for me. Anyone else beside me wish finals would just dissapear?

I am with you memnoch! I've 4 finals next week and only one of them is easy. The other three are in Reproduction and Development, Instrumental analysis and Ecology...all of which are very tough science courses. After the finals, I have one month to cram for my MCATs.:monkey4 :monkey4 I certainly hate school right now...:emperor :emperor :emperor

Yeah finals really suck. So far I've been lucky that most of the professors in my graduate program don't believe too much in finals have gone relatively easy on us. Although there was one class I had where I had to write about 10 pages front and back worth of essays.

carbo, good luck with the MCATS... if they are anything like the LSAT your going to need it. However I was totally in a funk and didnt study for my LSATs and managed a 150 which is apparent considered a "good" score?

I wish school would just disappear in general. I am burned out. buuuuuuuuuuurned O.U.T.

I finished finals two weeks ago, and they were some of the hardest ever. I had 3 spanish exams all at absurdly advanced levels of grammar and literature, a New Testament exam, a 20 page manual on teaching methods, a 4 page analysis on 20th century writings and a 13 page essay on Don Quixote. I wanted to die.

But hey, now I'm in So Cali working a sweet job and chilling at home and hanging around town. Just push yourself and it'll all be over soon! Even with all that stress my GPA is still in perfect shape. You'll make it dude! Keep on working at it to the end!

I only had 1 class left to graduate. I've put it off for so long. I took the Quantive Business Analysis back in 2000. I haven't been in school since spring 2004.

Fast forward to this semester, I took my last class: Quantitative Business Analysis 2. Final exam is tomorrow. My GPA was high enough that all I need to do is pass and I'm done. The professor told me all I need is anything above a 40 (out of 100) on my exam and I pass.

Wish me luck guys...I'm gonna need it. The final is cumulative and covers everything from this semester!! :monkey2

I try to do as little as possible. I have to keep my GPA above a certain point to graduate with an honors degree, so I pretty much just do everything at the last minute. It's odd, I seem to do my best when I do it at the last minutes, guess there's no motivation to do your best then a nice deadline.

Took the exam last night. The professor graded it before I left. I passed (Got an 80)!! woooo!!! I graduate!!!

I finished all my finals last week. I had one for Drawing I which was just a drawing from a photo we had to do-got a 95 on that, then in Animation we had to model and texture something, which was extremely easy, got like a 100 for that. Then for Color Studies I got like an A for a research paper on some trends. Then for New Testament I got a 91 on the final, which wasn't as hard as I thought. Then my last final was for Intro to Leadership (I hate that class) which I got like an 80 or something. So final grades are three A's and two B's. And now I'm back home and I have to work over the summer, but I'm getting paid $9.70 an hour so I'll have lots of extra money.

Is it wrong for me to skip out on the graduation ceremony? I've got some family members that are kinda disappointed that I've chosen not to attend.

My reasoning is that I'm in my late 20's, married with a well paid full time position in my company. I was never looking for any attention from friends and family. My mom of all people wanted to throw a graduation party for me immediately after the procession (don't know why...I'm too old for that sort of thing).

Plus, I don't feel the need to sit 3-4 hours to walk across the stage for a blank piece of paper (all diploma's are mailed 2 weeks after the graduation ceremony). I can skip out on boring speeches and waiting out hearing everybodys name before mine is even announced in my program (my last name begins with Z). Maybe, I'm being selfish...but to me it's no big deal. I feel that I worked hard all these years for that diploma, not to take part in a graduation ceremony.

I don't blame you nitro, I didn't go to my graduation, which really disappointed my mom. But she agreed if I walked in high school I didn't have to for college. I have a feeling when I get my Master's next summer I'm going to have to do it again though. But I'll fight it. All those boring speeches and everything. :monkey4 I don't blame you for wanting to bypass it at all. Although if I were you I would have the party.

True True. Although, my father-in law already has one set up for the end of the month for me. I couldn't say no. I am married to the bosses daughter. I didn't have much of a choice with that.

I had midterms this week!!! one about DVDSTUDIO PRO, the other compositing and Tracking green screen footage into live action...Love em!!!! Yeah!!!
but so tired i need rest!!!

I had to attend the graduation this year since I was helping out filming it (for $50), it was really crappy though. They just had it in the gym and they had the air conditioning off because the fans were loud so it was really hot. I was glad when that was over.

I don't really like graduation, but I do like the parties since people give you money, for my High School graduation I got like $600 which I used for a new computer so that was really great.

I didn't go to mine.. for those same reasons. Its not like High School where its small and you know most of the other graduates and were probably in school with them most of your life.
