Can't possibly afford this for this and next year and the worse thing is that if I miss the preorder window here the local retailer will increase the price by 30%. Ordering from sideshow is not possible as shipping alone would probably cost over 50% of the figure. I think this will definately be a phenomenal display for those whom are getting this!!!

Well if he will be $2500, I wont get him. They sold me at $2000 but with shipping (these are gonna be heavy) and with you know, life, I will just have to back out. And that's okay. Maybe something else will pop up for me in the future.

since it's open edition, perhaps the used statue price will go down in price? that's what happen to ironman lsf after they announced open edition for it.. it goes down to usd 1400-1600 here..
i really dont mind waiting for used doom LSF for 1500 bucks in good condition..

My pics from the con. I was blown away, he is the largest of all LSFs and possibly the best one in the line yet.

Price will be over $2K FOR SURE. Possibly $2500 Sideshow told me, but it could be less, price is not final yet.

Without doubt, the best statue i think i have ever seen! This really surpasses most PF's and Cinemaqettes....

Got it from a previous owner who was selling the Marvel part of his collection for $1500 USD with local pickup. Not sure how much he got it for initially tho, I should ask him. It's huge, glad I got it locally. But I did buy 3 other pieces from him so he probably gave me a bit of a discount on this last one and he was a great guy.

I talked to a retailer about IM recently actually, they said they can't get him anymore, so I don't know where ppl are finding him so cheap. One guy recently said he got one last month for $1550 shipped. Sure as hell wasn't off of ebay. A local pick up was on their for $1300 recently though.

actually, if you look at ebay ended listings, there have a couple ding bats that actually payed over retail for him . The only local pick up I ever got was for the CM Alien and Pred.

Strange, no idea why anyone would do that. Yeah it's always scary when it's not local pickup for huge intricate pieces.
