Dr. Horrible animaquette up for preorder

I received my Dr. Horrible maquette yesterday
and, although I like it, it's not worth the money.
It looks nice and is super cool to have, but man,
it's tiny! The boxes it's packed in are so small, you
just get more depressed as you start opening them.
Starting with the shipping box and going from that
to the actual box and then the styrofoam it's packed
it, it really reminded me of one of those matryoshka
dolls. You know, just getting smaller and smaller...

Don't get me wrong, I love the maquette, it's just
not worth $70.00.

I just looked them up and both are listed at
9 inches tall, so yeah, they're the same size
and would display nice together.
The problem with Dr. Horrible was I expected
him to be that size and it's closer to 8 1/2"
with the base. That sounds like a minor thing,
but I'm being generous saying he's closer to
8 1/2". I just wish the maquette was bigger.

Still, that said, it's really cool looking and I
like it a lot. If you want one and can get it
at a nice price, I recommend it. Just not at
$70.00
