Hmm, looks a little more interesting. Hopefully it's PS4/XB1 only this time. But it's nice that we can go through events that weren't in Xenoverse

More info:

This morning, I got a chance to check out a theater presentation for Bandai Namco’s upcoming Dragon Ball Xenoverse sequel. It was a hands-off affair, but I was able to get a few details about the game that fans of the show (and game) are likely to go Super Saiyan over.

We knew the game was only coming to current-gen hardware, and as such it will run at a buttery smooth 60 FPS. The visuals looked like they were ripped from the show, and the action didn’t hitch up during the presentation. I can’t speak to how things will hold up when things get crazy, but for the time being it does seem as though they’re making good on that frame-rate pledge.

Xenoverse 2 features an all-new hub world, which is seven times larger than the one from its predecessor. Players will be able to get around easily, thanks to the ability to fly – a fan-requested feature that’s being implemented in the game. Don’t expect to get airborne right after creating your new hero, however. According to Bandai Namco, they want players to get a little jealous when they see their fellow players soaring in the skies, and they’ll have to level up to unlock that privilege. That said, the person hosting the presentation said that it can look pretty insane when hundreds of players are zipping around the skies. Barring that, vehicles such as a Capsule Corp. hoverpad are available for people who haven’t quite learned how to fall toward the ground and miss.

I got to see an offline battle between Turles and Future Gohan, set in an archipelago level. The two characters zipped around in the air, lunging toward one another and unleashing furious flurries of punches and kicks. Players can teleport, too, which Turles used to great effect. The hero started off a melee combo, which ended with a powerful kick. Future Gohan propelled backward, only to be intercepted by Turles, who teleported from behind and continued his rampage. Players have more freedom of movement now, with the ability to dash mid-air to better attain a favorable position or to avoid Kamehameha attacks.

Other missions will take players to areas including Frieza’s ship, where they can embark on a variety of undercover missions. Or, if they’re feeling competitive, they can take on their fellow players in a new versus mode. Bandai Namco says they’ll be offering free updates long after the game’s 2016 release. Their goal, they say, is to create a game players will be able to enjoy at least a year after it hits shelves.

Look for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
