The Master of Magnetism

Magneto 1:6 Fine Art Statue - Kotobukiya

Another kick *** Marvel statue from Kotobukiya, Erick Sosa knocked this one out of the park! Everything about it is great, the way Magneto levitates, the 2 heads, the flow of the cape, the way the metal parts 'float'... it's just awesome.
After taking a chance with this line by getting Spiderman I'm in all the way! Might even sell my SSC Marvel pieces if Koto continues the line enough.

Makoto Shishio (Rurouni Kenshin) G.E.M. 1:8 PVC Figure - MegaHouse

Finally a Kenshin piece! Shishio is the first I got but I have Kenshin and Saito on order.
This is a very typical Japanese piece. 1:8 so a bit small, PVC but very finely sculpted. The switch out arms are cool and I like the flame effect. I love the eyes on this piece, very well done.

Popeye Classic Fleischer Studios Teeny Weeny Maquette AP 27/50 - Electric Tiki

Very cute little statue, it's a great representation of Popeye. He also comes in a Retro white outfit version but for me the Fleischer Studios version is more iconic so that's the one I went for.
Plus getting an AP signed by Ruben Procopio is a neat bonus!

Shinsen Gumi Leader Turned State Cop

Saito Hajime (Rurouni Kenshin) G.E.M. 1:8 PVC Figure - MegaHouse

My second Kenshin figure arrived yesterday and it's very cool too. Saito is in his classic pose, I love the way the katana can rest with the index finger on top and the others below, very neat! As with Shishio the base is pretty crappy, cheap plastic and not interesting but the face is great and especially the eyes are very piercing.
