First of the new arrivals:
Hot Toys DX09 Batman 89 & Hot Toys DX08 Joker 89

Got this from Cocoboloboy at a very decent price so I'm very happy with them.
These are my first Hot Toys and I'm a statue guy so keep that in mind.
They both look great and the likeness is amazing, but I have a few nitpicks.
For the Joker the ankle joint are a too soft so he's hard to stand without support and I wish he came with a laughing face wide open mouth or even a half painted museum face to go with the flower but still very cool.

For Batman it seems impossible to get his arms in certain positions. For example I'd like to put in a "stop" pose with the remote close to his mouth but the arms just keep coming back down almost to his waist. The cape is also frustrating but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.

All in all I'm a huge 89 freak so I'm obviously very satisfied but since I'm a statue guy these for me are almost temporary until pray:) SSC release these pieces in PF or Statue form down the line.

I'll futz with the figures much more and take better pics soon.

Congrats on your first Hot Toys figures Drakul. But this 89 Batman & Joker are really cool. I had got the 89 Batman before which is still sealed in the factory box. And just recently got lucky with auction for a new 89 Joker on eBay. So it should be here soon. Due to space constraints can't really display my 1/6th collection the way I want to. But don't want to sell these 2 figures as I am planning to sell my Iron Man I, II & III.

Cool pics Drakul. I like figures but as you are into 1/4th statue so am I. And I was planning on displaying 1/6th figures too but dint realize I will run out of display space so soon. Now it is difficult to make a decision. You must have already seen my update on Jessica Rabbit. I don't have place for her either. So even though I love my collection some of it will have to go to a new home. It is difficult to let these things go but at least you know that if they get sold, they will be going to a good collector.

So yes if I have to make a difficult choice between PFs like Jessica and Hot Toys 1/6th then it would probably be the Hot Toys.

I will surely let you know but for the time I am planning to sell on auction on eBay because I don't want to put a price and then get it down. So maybe auction will be a right thing to do and will hopefully get the best price that it is truly worth. And currently the HT Iron Man Mark I, II & III are pretty much selling for $800-$1200 on eBay.

Regarding the shipping, I am not in India. I will be shipping from NZ. And if you let me know your city and zip I can give you a quick estimate on the standard shipping cost.

Yeah Jessica is a must, every other representation of her sucks and I've always loved the character ever since I was a kid.
As it stands I couldn't get rid of HT 89 either...because it's 89 but I was debating getting the Reeves and I've made up my ind that these 2 will be the only HT I ever get..... and maybe the Batmobile.

I live in Houston but let's not worry about that until you sell something and I actually really want it

Hahaha not nearly. I got stuck in the Knightfall sage for about 3-4 years because I kept hoping for a Knightquest TPB (I don't like to read scans) and I didn't want to read the end of the saga without having read the middle. So I just got Knightquest and I'm re-reading the whole saga right now.

I'm also missing some trades that I've been wanting. Legacy, Prodigal, Nightwing Rough Justice, the prologue Birds of Prey trade by Dixon. These are the 4 I don't have and would really would like to get.

Dark Victory is a great read. I'm assuming you like the Loeb/Sale and you already read Long Halloween. You should check out Haunted Knight, Catwoman When in Rome (takes place during Dark Victory) and Superman For All Seasons.
I also just recently bought Spiderman Blue from them but I haven't read it yet.

Like you I got in comics with Batman and Spawn but as you can see I've spread out a bit
Let me know if you have questions about specific TPBs and if I've read them I'll let you know what I think. Whatever you do don't read Fortunate Son, it's the biggest piece of ____ tpb I've ever read.

For Spawn make sure you keep issues 9 and 10 since they are never collected in trades because of the McFarlane/Gaiman lawsuit. Otherwise the Spawn collections are a very nice way to get the series. I think after around 150 it went to ____... maybe even before.
