Glad you like it Dave! i really didnt know what to think about this one cause it really looks like the Transporter but i like Gosling and now that you said that really got me excited!! woooohooo!!!
 
I loved this movie! surprisingly there's a lot of gore in this movie. Its not excessive but i went into the movie not expecting any. I really enjoyed the Driver character.. like others say the driver is very much the man with no name for this generation. its amazing how much the story pulls you in. I'd recommend a watch asap!

Finally got a chance to see this movie... all I got to say is wow!!
It's simply amazing! People who think this looks like the Transporter, do yourself a favor and go watch this movie... it's nothing like it...

Very unique approach, loved the story, the acting, the atmosphere... PERFECT movie IMO...

Think Inception was the last time I was this incredibly excited to see a film :panic:

No film is perfect. But for something that is so full of retro "homage" type filmmaking, this is very entertaining. I truly haven't been this excited about a new filmmaker since Pulp Fiction.
 
oscar isaacs really impressed me in this film, just because i didnt realize it was him.. hes starting to become one of my favorite actors... i really liked him in sucker punch too.
 
I just saw this last night. It was an awesome movie

I didn't realize how bloody this movie would be. The scene where the driver stabs the thug with the shower curtain was unexpected. Or when he stomps the guy's head in in the elevator until he crushes the skull. He just became a stone cold killer in like 1 second.

i also saw it last night. really great movie. the more i think about it, the more i like it.

in regards to him just turning into a killer, i think he was always a sociopath to begin with. i don't think he had any problems killing those people. he seemed like he knew what he was doing.

:lecture:exactly: I think the way Gosling played the part and the way the director filmed it made this apparent (at least to me).
 
wait... so this isn't a remake of the 1997 "drive"? coz that was AWESOME!! tracey walter, a dude kicking a motorbike, and walter the einstein frog... this new version surely can't top all that!
