That made me laugh more than anything I've ever seen on this site.

I hope you can get your hands on one, I'd love to see this in person someday. :monkey3

I hope I can too. I'm a big fan of Rainman's, but unfortunately, I haven't been able to afford everything he's done. If I was to guess, I'd say I have about 1/2 of of the 1/6 figures he's made (have all 4 'Fighters' and all 4 'Gunmen'). The Big L is one of my favorite films of all time though, so I don't want to miss out on this, that's for sure!

You have the best of the bunch no doubt.

I feel the same in a way, but there's no denying that second Chaplin.

And... I always wondered how his Audrey Hepburn looked in-person. If I was a Dexter fan, I probably would have jumped on that one, but I've never seen the show. Who knows? Perhaps one day I'll kick myself for not getting it (assuming I someday watch - and end up loving - Dexter).

Theres an Audrey Hepburn full set on ebay if you are interested, bud.

Dang it. The timing is absolutely awful for me (but I appreciate the heads up). I just purchased Scott Pettersen's Bounty Hunter Blondie, and now I'm saving for The Dude. The price on that Audrey is great, but who has enough money for all these expensive figures!? :(

It's all perspective too. I have a friend who complains about Hot Toys prices, and won't pull the trigger on any toy over $100 - no matter how much he may love it. But man, when you pay $600+ for each custom figure... :dunno I know I can't ask you guys if I'm crazy for doing so because we're obviously all in the same boat here! :lol

I think there has been an issue with getting the right zipper which has set things back a little, Rainman was told he should have the clothes Monday :panic:

Awesome, thanks for the update buddy! Now...to forget what I just read so this weekend doesn't seem to drag on forever...

Pleasure buddy

After the $700 spent on Dexter recently any spare time for me to recover is welcomed :)

Man, this is getting to be an expensive hobby.

It wouldn't be so bad if great companies like Hot Toys were able to secure the rights to some of our old, beloved films and actors (for Pete's sake, why won't Clint Eastwood sign off on his likeness!?). No disrespect is intended to any customizer or their work, but then we wouldn't have to pay the high $600 - $700 custom prices - figures would end up being the average $165 a piece or so. That's still a lot for one toy, sure, but it's not as bad as $650 per. You can surely go broke paying the 'customizer' prices.
