My guess is that the value will increase substantially, but it could take a couple years. Like you said, despite the extremely low ES, they're still readily available. Once these get into the hands of collectors and don't show up on Ebay, I would think the value should go up.

agreed. if the colored version didnt exist this one would be through the roof already. but most people would be contented with the easy to get colored version than to break their bank trying to acquire this. Especially with it being so new. Give it a year and this one will disappear from sight on Ebay and that's when the price jump will happen.

Mine is sitting nicely next to the Duel With Dooku bronze. While I didn't buy them for the resale value I do agree that it may take a couple years but they should at the very least hold their value. I remember the McFarlane Metallica boxed set that sat on clearance shelves for years at $20 and now if you can find one its in the $150 range.. so you never know.

Well I'm still debating on whether or not I'm going to sell my faux bronze Dooku vs. Yoda-- after cancelling the fauz bronze DOTF I'm kind of jumping off this line.

Don't get me wrong-- I love the look of this piece, I'm just solidly in the PF and 1/6 line... One's gotta go.

Oh I would choose those over the faux bronze pieces but I wouldn't choose the PF's over the regular dio's.

I'm keeping my Anakin vs. Obi (impressive and a x-mas present from the missus) and I've got the Padme Geonosis arena one pre-ordered from my Canadian supplier-- but I'd rather have the PF's on display than the dios. Just me.

I feel the same way. I just feel like I am getting more with my money for the PF's then the dio's.

The PF's are eye-catching and I never tire of looking at them while at work in my office... The dios are cool (and a great line) they just don't impress me the same way that the PF's do. Apples and oranges-- That's the great thing about being a collector today--their are so many choices depending on your likes.

Yeah, pretty much. Got a few in hand PF's with a couple more on order and those help me keep a nice balance.

It isn't a matter of regret. It was a matter of just flat out not being able to afford it right now. They haven't gone up in value and people are still having problems unloading theirs. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. I hope you like your though!

I understand, there are more important things you can spend your money on. I'm just saying... I cancelled the IM exclusive, I cancelled the 1:1 Alien warrior bust, perhaps there are two or three other things I cancelled I had better not...

When you called, did you tell them you wouldn't make any money on ebay and had to cancel? :razzy (I do wonder if they have ever gotten a call like that)

In truth, Faux bronze is just a gimmick to which many collectors saw right through.

Speaking of cancelled regrets, I look at my order history cancellations of the Iron Man EX, the Dr. Doom EX PF, and the Hulk PF...

And I just weep.
