Also, I finally watched Army of Darkness and I have to say it sucks, sorry, it's way to ridiculous and cheesy and not in a good way.

:monkey2:monkey2

For me the few that come to mind are...

Ghosts of the Abyss - I would have preferred much more footage and history of Titanic instead of all the build-up of how the trip was being planned, new technology (granted some of that was interesting) and stuck robots. In many ways this film was much like the movie "Titanic". The few bits of history and actual Titanic shots were great but overall it was mucked up with unnecessary or annoying story pieces.

Black Sheep - The concept was interesting enough but overall I just found it too long and blah.

Death Proof sucked beyond the telling of it. There was no story. Just some sick twisted humor and people killing eachother with cars... whoopy!

And dr2red... you poo! Futurama the movie rocks! Not as good as I thought it could have been. I still think that Godfellas and Ends Well in Roswell are the two best Futurama episodes/movies... but this was still entertaining and funny regardless. It's intelligent humour. So perhaps that's it.

*hides*

I only kid dr2red.

I tried to watch "7 Mummies" on DVD yesterday. It was a gift from one of my family members. I couldn't even get through it all the way. Man what a boring and completely crap movie! :monkey1

I was wondering when you would chime in, Eli. I remember you started the Futurama movie thread:D.

For my graduation, one of my birthday gifts my friends gave me was a $1 DVD at Walmart called Laserhawk. It stars Jason James Richter (kid from Free Willy) and Mark Hamill!!! Needless to say, after watching the movie I now know why the Free Willy kid isn't making movies anymore.:lol
They only got me this because they know how I love movies and buy too many DVDs. Sigh...

:rock Bill Paxton was so annoying with his commentaries!!

I agree with Happy feet, while it was cute, it was the most stoopid ending ever!
Do me a favour if humans found dancing/singing penguins they would take them and disect them not dance with them.
So what, i'm a glass half empty girl :monkey3

The parts with just Ash in them are great. The battle and most of the scenes with the knights and army really suck.

As for buying a crappy movies on DVD, I haven't. In this day and age you just know when a movie sucks and is not worth the purchase.

I did pick up one of those 50 Horror Movies for 20 bucks things, ****ty quality, but some fun movies like Last Man on Earth and the original House on Haunted Hill.

I know lots of tou will have a different POV, but just saw Rob Zombie's Halloween last week on dvd.Didnt like it very much like I thought I would.

Oh that was a major dissapointment. I saw it in theatres. It was good until they grew him up and then it crashed. They should have made the whole movie about him as a kid and then it would have been badass.

I literally fell asleep halfway through the movie when I saw it at the theater on opening weekend (granted, it was a Midnight show). I do have the Blu-Ray, but haven't been inspired to watch it again yet.

IMHO, that franchise really jumped the shark (or, jumped the kraken) in the last 2 movies, ala The Matrix sequels.

I agree. They are making a 4th one and this is supposed to be all about Jack. They aren't renewing Orlandos contract and I don't think they are bringing Knightly back either. So it should be good. i heard it come out in 2010.

Yeah, AOD is great until you get to that big battle and then it just drags the whole movie down. They should do a re-edit and trim the hell out of that scene, save people the trouble of fast forwarding throught it.
