DX09 KEATON BATMAN: residue in abdominal area, has yours shown signs of it?

I'm going to check with my HT dealer if he will replace the figure if oil appears after 30 days.. I think european law says there must be 2 years warranty..

Removed the tape (and magnet since I'll never use it) and put the belt back on. I'll check underneath again in a few days.

So far 8 figures from 7 collectors have checked and claimed that they have experienced oil secretions,

3 figures/3 collectors are unsure if it's oil or simply tape residue from the glue of the belt (left side around magnet),

Lol. Except that Nam wouldn't get on a stage/make a thread saying something like "you like me, you really like me!". He's more like the forum ass-kicker, always whipping the titty babies into shape.

Advice, and please, without sarcasm. Mine was leaking one time on the shoulder. It wiped off. I contacted SSC's and they offered to let me return it for a refund, not including shipping. I have checked it every day and don't see anything, but I don't know about the long term. Would you return it, and watch the thread to see how widespread (if at all) this becomes and then since it is basically open ES buy it later if it seems to be okay? I have the 1989 Joker coming so I am very disappointed the Batman may have a problem as I was looking forward to posing them together. Serious advice please. Thanks.

Was the oil incident that first time you showed a pic of it out of the box when you first got it? Was that the only time you saw residue?

See that's just it. This has put me (and others) in a difficult predicament. Pay good money for something that is better than a Wal-mart action figure by many times and then want to display with it's companion piece(s) and Joker 1989 is going to look a bit odd all by himself. Also, doesn't help that the 1989 batman looks so damn good.

I didn't have the Batmobile on order, but the Joker got the axe with Batman, and if I had ordered it, it would've gotten the same. The movie was called Batman. Not Joker and not Batmobile. To me it seems pointless to have those without the main character.
