"Ebay and WB can kiss my ASS!"

It's a downward spiral from here on. Or upward depending on your point of view. If DA can get these two to kiss his ass, how long before it turns into two girls, a cup, and one Dark Artist?

Give in DA, before the dark side of your artistry takes you over. :emperor

That's what I thought! I mean, if I were making a bunch or something.. I could understand.

But a large amount of art has been created from inspiration, many of which were literary or film characters. And one figure isn't going to hurt anybody. This really pisses me off, I'm freakin DONE with Ebay.. I will NEVER sell there again.

Unfortunately, I think production of anything, even for non-profit, using an image or whatever that's copywritten is a no-no. My photoshop art with figures is illegal I'm sure in the real world. Fortunately Sideshow doesn't say boo about it because it can be helpful to sales and isn't used to be deragatory towards them, but if WB saw my made up posters for TDK or whatever, they could probably even sue me.

It sucks that even art is now purely about money, freedom of speech and expression do not exist, and in the end it hurst the art because your mind will never truly be free, you'll always wonder, now is that going to get me in trouble, or that, or that, or that.

You are still pissed about that $50.00 my crack whore mom supposedly owes you, aren't you.:mad::mad:

Its not even the money, its the principle

I should have never lent that crack whore money! She swore it was to buy medicine for her sick baby, does that **** even have a baby?

You can't sell your own custom screen printed T shirts if they feature ANYTHING that is licensed? No fan art of licensed characters??

I think all of those SHOULD be pulled. If you don't own the license, you shouldn't be profiting off other peoples property.

Josh, did Ebay notify you somehow that your auction was being pulled, and if so, did they provide a reason?

I've gotten stuff taken down, but Ebay always provided a reason as to why, and I usually couldn't argue their reasoning. My listing fee were returned.

Nope, they just pulled it and said it was against WB copyrights. No explanation, no questions...nothing.

I really don't care though, screw Ebay. They've officially pissed me off for the last time.

I don't get how I can sell Myers masks with Halloween in the title of my auction, Star Wars stuff with Star Wars in the title, and so on... But as soon as I list an item that I made for MY collection in the first place, that just happens to have Batman in the title... it's gone.

^^^^ Ebay.... I promise you I will never EVER list an auction there ever again. They can suck it. From now on ALL of my figure sales will go through Horrorbid. :moon

Have they started pulling the hundreds of "Marvel Legends" or "GI JOE SIGMA 6" customs? Umm, no...a search just brought up 100 hits. They also haven't pulled the multiple custom Marvel statues? My feeling is that some jerk reported you to be an A$$.
