https://www.ebay.com/itm/150698703108?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1559.l2649

EVERYTHING was fine till yesterday when i was start recieving emails like this .

buyer: oh since you have so many predators can you please take the parts out so i can complete the one i bought from you , my answer was i really cant .

buyer : then oh can you please send me these parts that i need as an extra and the buyer even gave me a list:

avp ancient spear
extra regular spear
extra blade and blade holder
extra bio helmet .

once again my asnwer was no i cant .

should i cancel the transaction before i send the item which is ready to go or wait to see what happens, please advice

Did you ever try and rip a buyer off in a prior transaction? Maybe he's out to get you back for a prior transaction in which he got screwed. Who knows :dunno :wink1:

Lesson to be learned: Post pictures of only the item for sale. Don't show off the rest of your collection. It causes confusion or in this case, opens the opportunity for the buyer to ask for more than was offered in the description.

why is everyone talking about confusion. The buyer isn't confused.

buyer: oh since you have so many predators can you please take the parts out so i can complete the one i bought from you

The buyer is perfectly aware he bought an incomplete set. He is making a slightly bizarre request that parts be pulled off the other Predators to complete the set.

buyer : then oh can you please send me these parts that i need as an extra and the buyer even gave me a list:

avp ancient spear
extra regular spear
extra blade and blade holder
extra bio helmet .

Unless I'm reading this wrong, he now seems to understand he won't get them for free and is making a second request to buy the extra parts (them to be sent as an 'extra')
...and his way of stating things may mean English is not his first language...not sure.

It sounds like he is trying to figure out how to complete the request and is starting from the first, most obvious source.

As I said in my other post, I'd just state that you are keeping the others together as complete sets and perhaps try to be helpful and suggest sites like Toy Anxiety that sell parted out pieces...

Anyone who buys by looking at pictures and not descriptions is an idiot and should be shot.

LOL :lol I remember people putting Empty Play station 3 boxes on ebay when PS3 just came out and people were bidding hundreds for them, even the title of the auction said "Play station 3 Box" and people would still bid over and over.
actually, that happened to me someone bought an incomplete figure and emailed me about the missing parts..:slap

What's the latest then? Did you cancel the transaction?

ok guys this is the latest update , i recieved 2 extra emails from the buyer .

the first one says : sorry i only wanted to see if i could get extra parts for free , knowing that you have a lot of them .

second e-mail says: please dont cancel the transaction , just send the item

i have never rip anyone before and i have been selling and buying stuff on ebay for over 8 years , but its the first time i come across with someone that want more items that the ones he paid for

yep, I Agree I know the guy is being weird but putting that pic was not a good idea lol,

I don't know, i would say cancel it and tell ebay, so that you get your listing money back, or relist it with new pictures,
mmmm, I would tell the guy if he wants more pieces the price would go up, I mean, he is asking for more pieces but I dont know if he means he will pay more.. wait a minute, can he even pay more? since the auction is over? mmm.......that actually is a question that makes me curious,

nah, i say this is too much trouble, i say take new pics of the pred by himself, and try again, I don't think you should destroy it,
why do you say is cursed? what happened? but, it makes me a little sad of hearing you say destroy lol

i said its cursed for the following reasons:

this celtic was sold over 2 months ago , but the buyer actually sent me message and said that he was having some problems and couldnt pay me , and i said that it was ok and that i understood it .

second the CELtic was traded for a war machine + a guardian predator , normally i would ask items to be shipped first but this time i didnt since I really wanted to get a war machine so i shipped the item first ,the same day i shipped the item , the other trading parthner said that he was sorry but that he had sold war machine and was willing to give me a guardian predator +$200 , i told him that i only wanted the war machine , at the end he sent the celtic back , so there was no problems.

and this time when i decided to sell it on ebay , which i normally wouldnt use becuase i just hate have to check on the auction and i was happy when the celtic sold whithin 10 minutes of posting it and now this :panic:

yeah never post pix of collections on ebay. that is unless you are selling the collection. lol.
your just giving the buyer way more ammunition against you. ebay is already one sided as it is..

How do these people breathe on their own? :slap

Yes you are right , i just gave the buyer more options to scam me =:)monkey2

What a d___ head, I'd cancel the transaction just on principle. And if he reports you to ebay you'd have that email to show them he's a douche bag scammer

that is pretty weird, and pretty sneaky, I've never heard of someone doing this actually, first time i hear of someone just asking for parts "just because you have so many"
either the person is not really a collector and doesn't have much experience or something is going on, because if you send stuff from the other preds you will make those preds incomplete,

nah, I don't think is cursed, is the people that backed out, I thought you meant curse and in that you tried selling it everywhere and no one ever bought it or something like that.

If the person paid and you want to get rid of it, i would say, pay insurance and tracking on the shipping, and maybe send it? it is a risk, but, the person had good feedback right? I don't know, sending it is a little risky because the person could say the item came damaged or incomplete or something

I'm sorta confused. Did he pay you? if he paid you it should of been sent out already.

yes you are right , since the buyer insisted to not to cancel the transaction and stated on an e-mail that he knew that he was getting and incomplete item , i decided to send it as usual using express mail (overnight) , with insurance and he should be getting the celtic today , so ill keep my fingers crossed that he wont comeback with something else .

and after that it will be the last time i sell something on ebay , too many people trying to get stuff for free

Just a head's up. When I sell something this expensive I only ship within the US. Then I add signature confirmation (at buyer's expense). Then nobody can scam you and say they didnt' get it. Even eBay will back you up and they almost never have a seller's back.
