Looks great, but that base is four times too long for me. I can understand extending it beyond the tail for the case, but I wish there was a smaller base for the non-case version.

Base is ridiculous. The Horizon vinyl model maquette pose is boring too. I had a 3d printed one this size years ago. Give us something new.

Well, to be fair this is based on the maquette gifts Spielberg gave to select members of the crew of the original film.

Here's an original that went for auction on PropStore a little while ago.

How is the base?

I was a bit nervous with that early review on YouTube showing how badly the base was made.

I was a bit nervous with that early review on YouTube showing how badly the base was made.

The base for mine was actually quite ok, a mostly flat surface, however if there would be a slight warp it would be immediately noticeable considering the mirror effect. I'm actually in the process of creating a basic white custom base in wood (oak to be heavy), that is far smaller, as i find the original reflective base way too large and visually overpowering. The upcoming ECC Male Raptor also has a much smaller base that looks great.
