So now that everyone is losing their jobs and homes, are you cutting back on figure collecting ? I only been collecting for a year and I tell you , I am beginning to see all ebay sales are much lower than they were from just a year ago. I guess the flipping is now out let alone purchase from the evil bay but if you have cash, you can get figures on the bay for probably 35% less than a year ago

Has the state of your current financial situation affected your hobby ?

cheers

That's okay, apparently were trying to spend our way out of the recession. It hasn't worked so far, at the expense of future generations, so we better ask the new government to spend more. Which is about to happen.

Perhaps indebting ourselves another one trillion dollars to the Chinese will fix the problem. Third times a charm.

I am not predicting gloom and doom but it is just what it is.

I live in California and there unemployment is at close to 11% here.
The housing market, credit freeze and the auto industry is going to take the economy down for some time.

It's strange how the same policies that bankrupted California (higher taxes and increased dependency on the government through the form of wellfare and uncontrolled increased social services) are now being adopted by the federal government. Too bad California didn't have the same cancellation policy that sideshow does if/when they realized they couldn't afford all the government spending they signed up for.

Some times you just got to check yo' self before you wreck yo' self.

Shai, have you heard, General Motors is now partly owned by the Canadian goverment?

The automaker transferred its main assets to a new government-supported car company under a plan financed by the administration of President Barack Obama and the Canadian government.

Thank goodness, a once privately company is now owned by the unions and the US and Canadian government.

What could possibly go wrong that already hasn't with this bloated and profitless company?

For all those naysayers that dismissed that taboo "social^^^^" and nationalism, here you go. To bad "social^^^^" doesn't have the same negative connotation that I was born and raised under. Somewhere, it became cool to rely more on the government than ourselves.

I'm gonna move to Canada, shai says the girls a really whorey :rock
