i'd rather have eric bana back for this movie. as great as the ed norton is, i don't like it when they start changing actors in moves despite this being an un-official not a sequel to the first movie.
~~don't hold bana 100% accountable for the first movie... he worked with what he had. ang lee was supposed to pull the rest of it off but he dropped the ball.

I agree Eric Bana did a good job in the first movie, I think the script and direction was weak and that's what ultimately let the film down in the end, not the actors involved.

However I think because they're going in a totally new direction and this isn't a sequel to the Ang Lee film, it makes sense not to recast the actors involved in that movie, as it'll just cause confusion amongst the average cinema goer, best to distance the two movies as much as they possibly can.

As for Norton, he's a great actor, I loved Fight Club and I think he'll play the part of Bruce Banner very well.

Marvel just sent out an email highlighting this casting. Academy Award Nominee Edward Norton. Thinking about it......Ben Affleck was an Academy Award Winner, so was Paltrow. Was Downey ever nominated? We've got some serious Hollywood in these Marvel Films...

I read about this yesterday, this is great news! I didn't think they'd get an A-list actor for the part, my anticipation for this movie has skyrocketed. :D

Downey WAS nominated -- for playing Charlie Chaplain. He was excellent. BTW...Affleck did win an Oscar but was for screenplay of Good Will Hunting (along with Damon).

Yeah, I know....when him and Gwennie were together they did a hilarious skit on SNL about it. Hey, a "W" is a "W" right? they only make one Oscar despite what is on it.

The first Hulk deffinately shows where being a good actor/actress doesn't mean you'll be great in everything because in the end you do what you're told. Jennifer Connely is an award winning and talented actress and nothing about he performance really showed of her skills, it wasn't bad, but it didn't make you think Oscar winner either. I think Ed Norton should do well, providing that the script and director mesh well with him.

Same could be said for Natalie Portman or Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson or Samuel L Jackson in the Star Wars films. All excellent actors in my opinion but nothing in those films would have gotten them an Oscar....

Hmmm....that I don't agree with. Liv is great but not Betty IMHO.......still reserving judgment but I think that will turn out to be a miscast.

That's probably why the movie is going to cost around $700M. Can't wait for the movie.

The more I hear about this movie the higher my hopes get.

I want this to be good SOOO bad!!!!

*finger crossed*

When is this scheduled to come out?
