True. I ordered both the day they went up. With the crap hammer sideshow put out, I'll wait as long as it takes to get an accurate one. Just some communication & updates would be nice.

The first shipment of our Thor Mjolnir will be shipping from Hong Kong this week. The estimated date of arrive in Los Angeles is September 29, and then into customs. As soon as we get confirmation that the ship had departed we will be sending to all customers who have a confirmed pre-order our Credit Card/Lay-away Authorization Agreement, with instructions to complete your order.

Shame I ordered mine with BBTS. I'll probably have to wait a little (or a lot) longer until retailers start getting their share of the items.

Actually, they have done that before. Their Tie Fighter took 2 years to come out. People were starting to lose hope. There has been a slight improvement in their updates lately, though. While there was absolutely no updates in the progress of the Tie Fighter, with the Thor Hammer at least they have been updating us in the progress and future steps. As it is now, they are being made, and should ship soon (or at the very least, some time this year )

They really are a sad excuse of a company but I'll take my chances just because I really want these props and there not a single other company out their doing this sort of thing right now. One thing is for sure, this hobby needs a competent prop company REAL BAD.

Sadly, all it would take is a few simple updates a couple of times a month across a few forums, and they wouldn't have so much drama around them.

Lack of communication. It's been their problem since day one, and I don't know if they rely on pre-orders at all, but they will never get another one of mine. I love my TIE Fighter, but literally zero communication and massive delays. Nuh-uh. I'll wait until someone has it in hand.

If there are no delays, we expect to start shipping the week of October 7. Once we get confirmation that the boat has departed Hong Kong and en-route to the U.S., we will be contacting you with our Credit Card Authorization/Lay-away Agreement which will include the instructions to complete your order. We will tell you how to:
Choose to pay the balance in full, including California Sales Tax (if applicable) and Shipping/Handling charges. OR
Choose our convenient Lay-away plan. California Sales Tax (if applicable), and Shipping/Handling Charges will be added to your last payment. Note your Mjolnir will be shipped to you AFTER your last payment.

Anyone having problems logging on to their site today?

I wanted to order one of the SHIELD NYCC exclusive badges and tried to get a new password for my account (forgot the old one- been so long since I ordered anything from them) and I never got any response from the "reset the password" request. Tried 3 times today.

I don't want to miss out on the SHIELD badge, so hopefully the e-mail I sent their customer service e-mail address gets some kind of response today (not betting on it though given the complaints on the board)
