EFX "stunt" LIghtlabers???

I have the Dooku one...I think it's worth the 100 bucks I paid for it. Looks nice with my other MR sabers..hard to tell the difference unless you pick it up.

darn I wish they were close to the MR ones...at the time I only had the funds for one...the yoda episode 3...which I love...now they are impossible to find.

Look on RS for ones for sale. Most are selling for much less then retail and less then most of them were selling for 3 years ago.

And your point? Stunt sabers are also used when they won't be seen very well on film, anytime they are are shown where you can see them very well they usually use the nice version.

"Hero" versions of props are used in close-ups with the "stunt" versions used in inconsequential or background scenes.

my point was that maybe they are stunt replicas, hence made of resin and not like hero types like the MR ones

as they have the MR replicas and they remove the blade. Here is my Vader version I ordered from them a year or two ago.

For the money you get all the motion sounds, light, removable blade, and a replica hilt that most won't be able to tell it's not one of the $500+ hilts. I went with them because I'm not super crafty and didn't want to screw the hilt up by trying to remove the blade myself. I also liked the idea of getting a hilt that actually functioned for a lot less than what the regular hilts cost.

There might have been several improvements or other companies doing this now but I haven't been looking since I got mine as I'm completely satisfied. Good luck on your hunt though, hope the info helps.

I have an Anakin Force FX modified by Ultrasabers and it rocks. I can display it with or without the blade, they replaced the cheep LED strip with a super bright Lexan 3. I can change the blade colour by putting a gel in the hilt. I picked it up ~3 years ago an never had a problem with it.

I can't vouch for eFX but everyone loved MR. I'd go with one of their sabers. Guaranteed to satisfy your inner fanboy.

Yes, Ultrasabers modifies Force FX and they do their own custom hilts as well.

I didn't pay 300 for my Anakin saber, they were easier to get a few years ago. But if I had to buy it again it would still be worth the 300. Ultrasabers does nice work.

You got it! I didn't pay $300 for my Vader but it was still $200 + if i remember right. Removable blade, pick your color, light up and sound features all intact and an MR hilt. Best of both worlds IMO, what more could you want?
