Vegas is a superior game to Fallout after being patched.
Obsidian does a better job with character background and motivations.
Bethesda could learn alot about doing companions the right way from Vegas.
Vegas DLC was well done and varied.....after it was patched.

I just didn't like it, don't remember what exactly it was , but l remember not engoying it at all. l remember the missions where way to long and dragged out.

This. 3 blows compared to Vegas. I can say that cause im obsessed with both. And yes Vegas DLC was amazing especially Lonesome Road and Old World Blues. But on the other hand Dead Money was god awful.

No way! :lol Boone rules. Can't run from me.

Usually when I play Fallout (and I'm doing the same thing with Skyrim), I like to play as the 'good guy' on my first play through and then I'll start a new game as the 'bad guy'.

When I was playing 'bad guy' Boone never wanted to kill any NCR so I just killed him instead :lol

Vegas was good after the patches, but I never liked exploring the desert as much as the Capitol wasteland. NV had ads, good character development and interesting story paths, but for whatever reason, I didn't find it as charming as 3.:dunno

I'd like to see Fallout 4 with the introduction of vehicle use..it's really nice to ride around on horses in Skyrim instead of trekking for a long time or just fast traveling every where, and I think it'd be cool to see the next Fallout have that.

I was thinking of that the other day. It would be cool to buy a doom buggy or something where you need to have parts to fix it when it brakes down and have to maintain it with gas and stuff, that would be sweet. God l hope their next game is Fallout 4.

Exactly what I was thinking...motorcycles would be pretty sweet too and you can store a limited amount of supplies on the sides, etc.

Even some silly RV with barbed wire and a snowplow on the front would be pretty cool- then you could store items in the fridge, have to look for gas, have a bed to sleep in, etc.

It's dune buggy. D-U-N-E!!!!!!! Sorry LOL. I see that mistake all the time and I always want to correct it. I agree that it would be cool though:hi5:

Unless someone is referring to the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland, in which case they are on fact called Doom buggies that you sit in.
Im full of useless minutia like that.

I thought Fallout New Vegas SUCKED. I played it right after beating Fallout 3 last year. Within the first half hour l could tell it was made by different people and all it did was get me mad, i really didn't like it at all and stopped playing it after 20 hours or so.

Interesting. Why did you think it sucked?
It wasn't dramatically different. I can someone liking one more than the other, but I don't think I've ever heard someone loving one and hating the other....

Fallout New Vegas was actually made by the guys that invented and made Fallout 1 and 2 so to a lot of hardcore Fallout fans, it is the true number 3.
