GRRR, I'm really frustrated. I just completed the Loud and Clear mission in the Thieves' Guild, and it simply will NOT let me access Dampened Spirits. I've tried all three of Brynjolf's responses, and in all of them he tells me to go meet Maven. The Dampened Spirits does not begin at all, and I cannot find Maven anywhere. I'm really frustrated with this, I was really looking forward to completing the entire Thieves' Guild quests. Has anyone figured out why this is happening in this quest?

Seems it's a bug of some kind, and even Bethesda's technical support was not able to help???

Maven isnt in the guild HQ, she is up top where you could rent a room usually on the second floor (the name escapes me at the moment) im almost done with the guild main quest

im actually in charge of the thieves guild just need to return skeleton key to Nocturna to complete the main guild quest

well that sucks, im playing the PS3 version. my roommate has the Xbox version and their a few quest im able to complete (college of winterhold) that he cant because of glitches in the game. maybe thats a reason why

yup, oh, how Bethesda got the horses wrong. I haven't seen horses this bad since the first Assassin's Creed. If only they took some lessons from Rockstar on how to make horses. Nothing beats Red Dead's horses.

My Red Dead horses always got killed by one surprise hit from a mountain lion. I'll take Epona any day.

Interesting.
I looked around the net just to make sure I wasn't going insane. Appears that many people thought as I did, but are now finding out differently.

People are now instead saying that the ability to level up drastically decreases after level 50. Is that your experience so far?

Yes, it slows a lot but I think it's because of the way you level up. By level 50 all the skills you use most are maxed out. Now you need to rely on whatever skills you never use.
I never used Archery and went pure mage, but now using Archery is awesome and making me want to reinvest time to get a better Archer set.
