Just received my Elvis Comeback last week with my Exc HB II.

Have to say, this is the best Elvis statue/figure I have seen to date.

Elvis suit looks dead on accurate. Elvis sculpt, for this type of medium is excelent.

The guitar had a lot of attention paid to it. Awesome on this too SS!

The chair looks great and looks like the real thing, including the indents!

Only one thing I would improve on this: a light up stage. It would have been worth the wait. Now I will have to figure out a way to do it.

Here are some pics:

thanks for posting those pics
thank ya, thank ya, thank ya very much.......;)

a light up stage would have been killer, hope you can figure out how to do it.

Very nice! I think the in hand pics look much better than sideshow's. I wasn't sure about his face orginally, but your pics have swayed me. Congrats on a nice score!

Uh-oh, in hand pics do it again...now I kinda want one. I agree with Prax, the likeness looks better than I originally thought.

so jealous. i had to cancel mine, but you're right, he looks great.

Thanks pixeltwin. I hope you can pick one up soon!

Ya welcome SS friend.

I think I have figured a way to do it. It seems that it is hallow enough under the glass stage to score some lights in there. Question is the material of the stage: ie how strong a light will it take?

Thanks! When I saw it myself, I just had to share on great job SS did, less of course a stage which should light up IMO.

Thanks for commenting, I wanted to be sure I was seeing the same thing you guys were.

Looks great, much better than their first Elvis PF.

Pose is super on the first Elvis, but they did not nail his face or snarly smile he was supposed to have.

who did this. that's alsome. i like it...

Not sure who sculpted it, but yeah it is awesome.

I loved the pose and outfit on the first one and I almost bought it despite the sculpt being less than perfect, but in the end I couldn't justify it. This one though...

Now let's see the one from the Hawaiian concert.

Sorry, that was speculation/hoping/wishful thinking on my part. They have made no indications they are doing a Hawaiian one. I just really want them to. Would be awesome wouldn't it?

Yes, it would be! Again, they have to get that face right.

Pics look awesome, I'm hoping to pick this up soon, much better then the 1st one.

Thanks, the figure is better in person. I have to say, I am looking at right now, and can't get over the chair that was used. Not in the sculpt itself, as that is an accurate representation of the chair. I am just thinking, what was the idea behind using a chair that looks a bit like a kitchen chair? Maybe that was in back then?

Regardless, the sculpt is a pretty accurate representation of the Elvis and the times.

The piece looks sweet. SS picks didn't do it justice, but you in hand pics are great. Very nice purchase.

Nice pics. Certainly better than their first attempt, but the face still doesn't seem right to me. But it's still a nice-looking piece.

I'm still holding out for 70s Elvis.

Thanks, I agree the piece looks sweet. The head seems a bit big for the body, but my wife keeps reminding me that Elvis's head does look big, espescially with all the hair he had. And she's right ...

Thanks Choopie. They had an outstanding pose on the first attempt, but face was not there. This one is pretty close, and I am not to sure if they will be able to get it any closer with the current medium they use know for a face like Elvis. I think a face and head like Elvis is more difficult to sculpt then say, Arnold Schwartzenager in Terminator. Arnold has straighter lines, and places where his face cut cleaner at an angle. I think this is why Cinemaquette was able to score an accurate representation on their sculpt with Arnold. Elvis face has way more curves, dips, and contours, that change his expression with one tiny face muscle movement. For that reason, I think it will be difficult to get bang on, and a sculpt like that would require someone with truly gifted hands.

Dude, I am so jealous! Best chair PF ever!!!!

And you got the exclusive ass print version! :bow

Thanks King Darkness. I am not sure what you mean by the exclusive print ass version. I thought all the chairs had the butt and part of the back thighs imprinted?
