'68 Comeback Special in black leather is cool. fine. cheaper to produce? eh, possibly. But if that's the case, do this in a 1/6 scale.
Military? there are a few pics of elvis getting his hair cut. big deal.
Gold suit? eh, again. 1/6 scale.
But if you want to capture Elvis... EAGLE JUMPSUIT! whether it's him doing the Take-A-Knee, spread the cape pose, the karate kick / karate hi-yah hunka hunka uh-huh-huh pose, or just.. Elvis.

Man, I'm bummed. Jumpsuit (fat) Elvis is in the lead now, and my personal fav, Jailhouse Rock, is a distant fourth.
I could definitely get behind a Comeback Elvis, if I couldn't have Jailhouse version was not chosen, but Jumpsuit was not what I most wanted.

Don't worry RoboDad. The new PF is surely not my dream Jumpsuit Elvis. And besides, in '72 he was still in great shape (on the outside, at least).

I like the Hawaiian jumpsuit pick that Pix posted, that would be my personal pick. All the great detail that the outfit would have in PF form, but without being fat. It just bothers me when I see him like that...it just looks like the tragedy is waiting to happen. Mostly though I will be happy (and buy) whichever one it is.

Well, SSC has colored the letters in Elvis's name. Have a look at it, it's just under the "Ministry" banner. Might be an indication for the Aloha flowers?
