Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

An interesting idea, but I don't think it would look nearly as cool if it wasn't in a translucent green plastic. I think it being construct armor would look better and be more something Hal would actually have/use than actual armor. So I don't know what your casting skills are like, but I'd really suggest going with the translucent green route.

But that aside, it does look cool. But an armored character like Mr. Freeze or even Cyborg Superman might benefit from the Iron Man body more than Hal. Or perhaps just do the robot Green Lantern, Stel?

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

I don't think I like tranluscnet plastic, it think usually it looks really cheap and toys like.

What you see for now is a mockup, wait till you see the final version.

ATM i kinda like how he looks but that will change once he's completely done.

And this isn't the iron man body.
It is just the armour parts on a muscular body ;-)

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

Some great new work... love how the Hex turned out.

I like GL quite a bit, but the head seems a tad too big for the body he's on. I love the sculpt, but I wonder if something else might work better?

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

That's good to hear; I used to have that figure and thought the head would've worked better on a smaller body.

I still have no idea what DCD was thinking with those awful 13" bodies... guess we are lucky they still sculpted them with normal sized heads :lol

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

Very cool idea on Green Lantern Seb. Your originality and ability to see something that isn't is amazing.

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

Seb have you thought about running green LEDs under the black body suit and have them come out at certain points under the armour. The light shinning through the gaps would look great. I'm really looking forward to seeing this one.

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

That came out great! That fur is really cool. Congrats Magnus. That's a top shelf piece.

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

Made some progress on my Green Lantern.

Painted the armour a nice metallic lime green.

THis idea has grown on me.
Like in Kingdom Come his armour could be used instead of the lantern to recharge his ring.

I can't wait to get my Kato body suit to try it on.
