Re: ELVIS1976 custom work (Marvel, DC, Horror, Movies)

This is definitely one of the certer piece of the collection. This cap is full of win.
Can I ask how you weathered the white part of the waist? the Red and white stripes.
Is that black paint and water mixed in to give it that dirty look?

Thanks bro :1-1:

Yes you're right that is indeed black watered paint.
Applied in several layers.
Be sure to thin down the black paint enough and work layer by layer and let dry each layer completely before applying a new one.

Ha oups forgot to ask you.
To kill the shine it's really simple, I used a matte varnish in spray can.
After a few layers it will look like metal and not chrome.

I then added some black washed and painted the bullet shots on it.

Thanks Ski! :duff:rock
Yes, this head is from DA. The thing is that originally I ordered this figure from DA but he scammed me & from all the stuff that he sent to me (about a 1,5 years later after the purchase), only machete was pretty much OK. Head was a mess too, Seb had to modify it & repaint it. But yeah, originally it is DA head.
The weapons here are made by my friend Captain HH - he is a blacksmith from Russia. This weapons are from alloy steel + real wood + real leather. They are masperpiece by their own & in a combination with this figure makes me one happy russian for 1 000%.
