Yeah strange huh, I never saw neeson much but with the new beard it shows the likeness perfectly.

It's amazing how you finally decide to tackle SW, and every single character you do is the best 1:6 incarnation made so far.

Screw me sideways... Qui Gonn is amazing looking. Did you recess a groove for the hair, or is it a smooth bald head? I'm curious how you got such a clean looking hair line.

Thanks guys, i know a lot of you hate real hair but I think if done right it can push the realism.

I don't like the hair HT is using, synthetic barbie hair, the next step would be for them to use that material (lamb wool), it's really thin and pretty much in scale.

I have to agree... the barbie hair is not bad from a distance, but when you get up close it's so thick and overly shiny. But this lambs fur is amazing in person, its so fine and soft that it really scales beautifully for 1/6.

That's one thing the 12" Chewbacca did right, it's a synthetic fur (as far as I know) but it doesn't look fake and scales well. I think that's why so many Chewbacca customs look odd is they used a lower quality synthetic.

You're getting pretty good at this customizing thing Seb. Don't give up.

As R'as, the sculpt is decent, but with your alterations, it shines Neeson. Crazy!

No I didn't make any recess grove, I glued the hair on a smooth bald head. I tried redessing groves before but i don't like it. It doesn't look as antural and looks more like a wig.

Good to know... I've seen it done both ways, but usually the recessed groove creates an unnatural looking transition.

I have futzed with the hair a bit more and refined the head paint.

Hair are completely finished now. I had to add some more strands here and there. So all in all I htink it took around 4-5 hours just for the hair.

I need to futzzed with the cloak a bit more and customized the leather boots.
