That was my point. The original Tunnel Rat has cowboy boots. But nevertheless, Elvis really hit this one out of the park! The combat boots are a great and sensible upgrade.

I always thought that Hasbro was being cheap with sculpts like with Flash, snake eyes, etc and just did not sculpt the laces on the boots. Never thought they were cowboy boots. Sorry did not think that.

These figures are perfect. I agree with everybody that Serb should be making the protos for these figures. Wow! I wish Firefly looked like that!

That's what makes it so great. With the Joes, the devil's in the details. As others have speculated I wonder also if Hama wore cowboy boots (at the time/still does)?

Beachhead is coming along nicely and you've stayed very true to the action figure. I like how you did the backpack. Are you going to include the arm patches?

Stunning! Like I said in your customs thread that collar really makes the figure pop! Lots of great details in there like the walkie and gaunlets. Awesome stuff!
