Gandalf is in the work. I'm almost done with Boromir. So he will be posted first.

Lurtz head is done and haired. A huge thanks to Peter the painter for the awesome sculpt.
I can't wait to finish this one.

Love the sculpt! You're getting insanely good at hair. Gimli's beard put you over the top.

Did you build that from scratch or is that armor the old Sovereign Lurtz parts?

The armor is build from scratch using plasticard. The rest is leather

Excellent work! That sculpt really came alive with the hair. It also looks in proportion with the body.

LURTZ almost done.
I remade the upper leather part of the armor. Wasn't happy with the other one.
I alos modded the body to get as close as I can to his shape.
Uruk's have a strange proportions.

Looking great. Biggest thing I can think of is maybe some more weathering to the upper leather. I hope when Asmus and ACI make their attempts at Lurtz they take a look at yours. I would have still been leaning towards good looking Uruks being impossible to make in 1/6th but you proved me wrong. His hair might be a little poofy but still not bad at all and this is from someone who doesn't really like the none plastic hair look at least until these customs.

I still need add more weathering. Mud and dry blood.
I also need to make his hair looks more diry and greasy.

What body did you use for Boromir? It looks so natural in the stance you have him posed. I could almost believe it was a real person instead of an action figure. Oh and what chain mail did you use? Even though only a little bit is visible it looks fantastic.

Damn, that's some amazing work, Elvis. All of them are fantastic, but my two favourites are Gimli (his outfit looks incredible) and the Nazgul. Can't believe how good you've made the rooted hair look, especially on Gimli. Difficult now to see how sculpted plastic could compare.
