Keep in mind I'm remodeling my house so I couldn't take pictures in my kitchen where the natural light is the best.... The light in the Casita is rather poor but here are the pictures... Also the highlights in her hair look orangeish in the pictures but in person there just a slightly darker yellow. QC came out great, no googly eyes... (WOOT !!! )

I wished they made the COH with long straight hair. After seeing these pics I want to see SS make a magneto. Why not SS? He's only the x-men's most popular villian... I want to see one that can compete against XM. Same as a SS cable please!!!

actually the X-MEN ladies all fit together now that I think about it.

Emma looks a bit off, but if you repaint psylocke rogue and jean (less-so) they all fit in a common display setting

I wish I bought an extra Psylocke

scratch that - I wish I bought doubles of the entire xmen line because they make great customs. The paint is awful on some but they look amazing when repainted



I hope SSC releases the 70s / 80s run

I'm a big fan of Jean now -- I might buy a second one to customize from ground up.

That pic looks great! I have to send Emma back but crossing my fingers I get a good replacement. I have that lineup but instead of Jean, I have Storm.

PLEASE Sideshow release a kick ass Magneto --- using his powers and include some awesome levitating switch-outs (suspended disbelief - appears like item is levitating when its not ie XM Studios Magneto piece with helmet)

Gotta say I'm really happy with the pieces I received from SS lately. With Emma I'm not so crazy straight on but I love her from a slight side angle. She is a hoss next to Jean

Granted it has been a few years since I was in a country that had a Wal-Mart, but I see women with these proportions all the time, especially tall, leggy Russian women. Tall, leggy, busty and thin. You see that she really does not stand out as odd in that lineup either. On the other board you would think she was a science experiment gone wrong the way they waxing apoplectic about her. I think she is fine, and now that we're headed for the wellness center for swim/massage, I can tell the wife I am looking at the eye candy to satisfy the scientific curiosity of fellow collectors. Or not.

Ok so we've seen a couple of good one and bad one so far, so is it a hit or miss with Emma? or the first two guys are just really unlucky to get googly eyes? And I still haven't seen any good Ex head on here yet

I posted this on the other board as well, but it seems the EX heads turned out fine. Only the reg heads have the eye problems. On mine, her eyes are slightly off, but they do not look that bad in person. So, I'll probably live with it.

This is all I'm really worried about with mine. QC seems to be pretty good on this piece overall. It's just looks like it's a roll of the dice to see if you get a googly eyed portrait or not. I get mine on Monday so I just have to sweat it out until then.

Man nem, thanks for sharing these pics. Yours turned out looking very good and gives me some hope that I'll have the same luck when mine shows up on Monday.

Mine was the opposite. My regular head was fine but my EX was googly. Sending back the statue today for a replacement...wish me luck!
